Art Nouveau Pipe Stand and Tamper 

This Ironwood stand and tamper is simply elegant. It is a small heavy stand, which will make any pipe look great. As I was carving this stand, I began to notice the lovely dark swirls, and wavy grain patterns emerging, and followed them to the pieces’ finish. On the right side there was a small flaw that I filled with a piece of turquoise. The tamper has the same turquoise to unify them.  I am very pleased with the deep subtle beauty this holder possesses. It will fit small and medium pipes.
